The University of Camerino’s science communication festival, “Scienza in Festa,” was held on June 13 and 14, 2026, at the Fiastra Abbey.
The flagship of the University of Camerino’s public engagement project, this project was created to build bridges between the university and society, bringing science outside the classroom and into everyday places like the Fiastra Abbey, to stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and dialogue.
The 2026 edition’s program was particularly rich, with over 30 events, including meetings, workshops, performances, book presentations, and outdoor activities. The Casa della Memoria di Urbisaglia was also present, which, during the final concert performed by the “Concorde string quartet”, commemorated the story of Ukrainian internee Nicola Tiuppa, a violinist fleeing the war.
